The 41-A District Court is conducting all Informal Hearings for traffic matters over Zoom at this time. Hearings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Persons wishing to contest their traffic violations (civil infractions) and schedule a court date may do so in one of two ways within 10 days of the issue date on the ticket:
- Call the Traffic Division of the Court at (586) 446-2575 and a clerk will schedule you for a court date. Please have your ticket number or Driver License number available. Wait times may be lengthy, please be patient.
- Check the "Deny Responsibility" box on the back of your ticket , sign it, and return it one of the following ways:
- Via US Mail: 41-A District Court, 40111 Dodge Park, Sterling Heights, MI 48313
- At the Courthouse: There is a drop box located to the right of the front entrance.
Please confirm all of your contact information on the ticket is correct, and include your email address. Court dates will be mailed or emailed once processed by the Traffic Division.
