Bocce Barn

Sterling Heights Bocce Barn Courts 

(Located behind the Senior Center at 40200 Utica Rd. Please follow the path.) 

Residents and Non-Residents may now enjoy the newest amenity from the Recreating Recreation Millage!   

This three season facility has two club size bocce courts with turf and is fully enclosed. 

The Bocce Barn will be open from March 20 through November 20 annually starting in 2023!

The Bocce Barn will be reserved from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for 50+ scheduled activities and members of the Senior Center.

Register to play:

Registration is required at the Bocce Barn. Bookings will open up for residents of the City of Sterling Heights on Thursdays for open times spanning the upcoming week. Non-Residents will be able to register for available open times beginning the next day (Friday). 

All participants must be pre-registered to guarantee your time slot.

Residents and non-residents of all ages can reserve a designated block of time by registering online at registration.sterling-heights.net. 

*Pre-registration is available until 3 p.m. the day before planned visits. For example, for Saturday time you must be registered prior to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Hours:

(Max 20 / minimum 4 participants per block of time):

Monday through Friday: 5 p.m. - 6:45 p.m., 7 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays: 12 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., 2 p.m. - 3:45 p.m., 4 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Fees:

Sterling Heights Residents w/ valid photo identification: Free.

Non-Residents and those without proper identification: $5 per person.

*All minors 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years and older.

* Bocce Barn will be closed on Thursdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day due to Music in the Park and observed City holidays.
