The Master Land Use Plan guides the physical development of the City as it relates to uses of land, public and quasi-public facilities, transportation systems, and utilities.
The City of Sterling Heights is making a commitment to ambitious climate action through this first-ever Climate Action Plan (CAP). This CAP establishes a road map for a sustainable future for the City; and lays out goals, strategies, and actions to guide the City of Sterling Heights to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This goal is in alignment with the MI Healthy Climate Plan’s goal of state-wide carbon neutrality by 2050.
