Xs & O

  • Mark Beltchenko - Pleasant Ridge, MI
  • painted steel
  • 48" x 77" x 36”
Beltchenko’s sculpture is part of a series of works that addresses how our past experience tends to cloud our ability to find new meaning in that which is familiar. We have a tendency to see what we have always seen. Xs & O represents the disassembling of something both universally familiar and versatile in its use and presents it in a bold and striking configuration.
