[ARCHIVED] Sterling Heights City Clerk to Host “Let's Vote” Community Forum

lets vote

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, the City of Sterling Heights is committed to ensuring its residents have the necessary information and resources to exercise their right to vote effectively and securely. In line with this commitment, the City Clerk's office invites residents to participate in the Let's Vote Community Forum, an informative session aimed at educating and empowering voters.

The Let's Vote Community Forum will take place on Jan. 18 in the Community Room at the Sterling Heights Community Center, located at 40250 Dodge Park Rd. The session, led by the City Clerk's office, will give residents an opportunity to learn and ask questions related to all aspects of elections, including the new early voting option.

"Our goal is to provide our residents with comprehensive guidance on the voting process, including new options available for the upcoming presidential election," Sterling Heights City Clerk Melanie Ryska. "This forum offers an opportunity for individuals to have their questions answered and gain valuable insights to ensure their participation in the democratic process is informed and impactful and to affirm their confidence in our secure election process."

The event will cover a wide range of topics related to voting, including but not limited to understanding new voting options, navigating the voting process effectively, addressing queries regarding voter registration and absentee ballots, providing insights into ballot measures and election procedures.

All residents, regardless of voting experience, are encouraged to attend this forum to receive accurate and up-to-date information directly from the City Clerk's office.
