In preparation for fall cleanup of leaves and other yard waste, the city of Sterling Heights is offering residents a special $60 rebate on the purchase of a brown, 95-gallon yard waste cart from Priority Waste. Rebates are limited to one cart per household.
From July 1 through Sept. 30, any resident who purchases a yard waste cart from Priority Waste will receive an automatic $60 rebate from the city. Rebate checks will be processed and mailed every 30 days, and Priority Waste will deliver carts within 30 days of purchase.
Yard waste carts are $120 after taxes and credit card processing, making this a 50% rebate! Yard waste carts can be purchased through the Priority Waste website.
