[ARCHIVED] Sterling Heights City Council to conduct meeting on March 17 at 7 pm via phone conference

The City of Sterling Heights will conduct the normally scheduled City Council regular meeting on Tuesday, March 17 at 7 pm.

However, due to the City operating under an emergency declaration and with approval of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the meeting will be conducted via phone conference.

Due to this change, the council meeting will be abbreviated and is expected to last approximately 15 minutes.

In order to help prevent community spread of COVID-19, residents may only participate remotely in the following manner:

  1. The March 17, 2020 city council agenda is published on sterling-heights.net. Residents may view or download the agenda (click government, click city council and scroll down to “agendas and minutes.”)
  1. Residents can listen to the council meeting live online at sterling-heights.net/shtvlive or on cable (channel 5, 10 or 99).
  1. Residents who have comments on any agenda item can email them to cityhall@sterling-heights.net. Comments must be germane to city business. Comments submitted via email will be included with the meeting minutes.

Those with questions or those seeking more information can contact Community Relations Director Melanie Davis at mdavis@sterling-heights.net or by calling (586) 446-2471.
