[ARCHIVED] January Service Update

Library Logo - Web (color)

The library's first phase of renovations is expected to end by Tuesday, January 19. Once this phase has been completed, the library may reopen to the public pending further guidelines from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services.

Until that time, most of the library's core services will remain intact. Both our curbside pickup and home delivery services will continue. In addition, the library's phone service will remain active during our normal hours of operation. Starting Jan. 10, the library will reopen on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.

As always, our electronic collection and online resources are available 24/7.

At this time, the library remains closed to face-to-face business, including item requests and library card applications. Library patrons who wish to place an item on hold may sign into their account or call us at 586-446-2665. Sterling Heights residents may apply for a library card online.

From now until Jan. 19, all in-person library programs have moved to an alternate format. Presentations, performances, and discussions will be done virtually. Craft programs feature kits that can be picked up through our curbside service. For more details on each event, please see our calendar of events.
