Given the extended Michigan Department of Health & Human Services emergency order and our desire to slow the spread of COVID-19, the library building wilremain closed to the public until Monday, February 1.

Most of the library's core services will remain intact during this time. Both our curbside pickup and home delivery services will continue. In addition, the library's phone service will remain active during our normal hours of operationincluding Sundays 1-5 p.m. If you need tax forms or other documents printed, please use our curbside printing service. Library patrons who wish to place an item on hold may sign into their account or call us at 586-446-2665. Sterling Heights residents may apply for a library card online.

As always, our electronic collection and online resources are available 24/7.

While the library will be closed to face-to-face business, limited in-person programming will resume on Wednesday, January 20 at the Sterling Heights Community CenterTours of the Upton House Museum will also begin on January 20. A household of up to four people may register for 30-minute tours between 1 and 4 p.m. every Wednesday and the second Sunday of the month. For more details on upcoming events, please see our calendar of events.
