In celebration of Women's History Month, join us on Monday, Mar. 29 at 6 p.m. for an informative presentation on Michigan native Harriet Quimby. A true Renaissance woman, Quimby not only gained fame as America's first woman pilot, she was also a drama critic for "Leslie’s Illustrated Weekly", a motion picture screenwriter and actress, and even a spokesperson for Vin Fiz grape soda.
This program is brought to you by the Historical Society of Michigan. With their help, you can explore the meteoric rise and sudden fall of this little-known American legend.
