[ARCHIVED] Bookstore to Reopen

On Monday, April 5, the Used, But Sterling Bookstore will reopen to the public! Patrons can once again enjoy bargain deals during the store's new hours of operation:

  • Monday - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For safety reasons, the bookstore will have a capacity limit of seven. The capacity limit and the hours of operation are subject to change as time goes on.

A Fresh Look

The Friends are excited about the lovely new features in the bookstore. Not only can patrons enjoy a clean layout, the bookstore is now able to accept credit card payments for all your purchases. Moreover, our new streamlined pricing includes $1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardcovers, and $3 for a bag for clearance items. Come to the bookstore for a simple, hassle-free shopping experience!

The bookstore will resume taking donations upon reopening. Due to ongoing construction, donations cannot be placed near the front or back entrances of the library. At this time, donations will only be accepted inside the bookstore during the store's hours of operation.

In addition, for safety reasons, our staff and volunteers cannot assist patrons with bringing items into the bookstore. Furthermore, we ask our patrons to limit the number of donations to two handheld bags or boxes. We know that many of you have been saving your items for us, and we appreciate it! We do not, however, want to have so many donations that we simply have no place to store them.
