[ARCHIVED] DPW Conducting Road Work at 17 Mile and Dodge Park Roads through May 9

DPW Road Work Update

The Department of Public Works has contracted with Insituform Technologies USA on a sanitary rehabilitation project near the intersection of 17 Mile Road and Dodge Park. Construction will begin March 24, 2025, and is scheduled to be completed May 9, 2025.

As part of this project, the following closures and detours will be in place:

  • Eastbound lane closure on 17 Mile Road: The eastbound right lane of 17 Mile Road will be closed from Dodge Park Road to the east starting March 24.
  • Sorrento Boulevard road closure: Sorrento Boulevard will be closed at Dodge Park Road from March 31 to May 9.
  • Sidewalk detours: Pedestrian detours will be marked with signage to help with navigation.

Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted detours, and use caution in the work zone. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the area.
