[ARCHIVED] City of Sterling Heights and Connect Macomb Seek Nominations for 2025 Sterling Edge Awards

Sterling Edge Awards

The City of Sterling Heights and Connect Macomb are seeking nominations for the 10th annual Sterling Edge Awards recognizing outstanding businesses in Sterling Heights.

Nomination applications, due Friday, July 18, can be submitted online at connectmacomb.com. The Sterling Edge Awards seek to recognize Sterling Heights area companies that have demonstrated best business practices that can be adopted and emulated by other businesses.

Any outstanding Sterling Heights business, whether an inspiring start-up, a long-standing corporate entity, a local small business icon or other, is eligible to win one of this year’s two awards: Local Business of the Year and Dream Big Company of the Year.

The awards will be presented at the State of the City breakfast on Friday, Sept. 12. The event will be held inside Lakeside Mall, offering attendees a “last look” opportunity. Sterling Heights Mayor Michael C. Taylor and Chamber President and CEO Stacy Ziarko will present the awards to this year’s winners.

Last year’s winners included Duo Care (Local Business of the Year) and Imagio (Dream Big Company of the Year).

For more information, contact the city’s Community Relations Department at (586) 446-2470 or Connect Macomb at (586) 731-5400.
