The City of Sterling Heights and the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the fifth-annual Michigan Week Business Expo & Sterling Edge Awards Luncheon today at the Wyndham Gardens.
This year’s award winners are:
- First State Bank - Legacy Partner of the Year
- Bright Side Dental – Blue Ribbon Company of the Year
- Ike’s Restaurant – Community Partner of the Year
- Decra-Scape, Inc. - Local Business of the Year
- Serapid, Inc. – Manufacturer of the Year
The Ray Weingartz Family was named the recipient of the 2016 Lil Adams Award.

The Sterling Edge Awards is an annual event where local businesses based in the Sterling Heights region are honored for their excellence in various categories. The nomination process is open to the public beginning in January, and the winners are chosen by a small joint City-Chamber committee in March.
