The Snow Emergency declared on Monday has been officially lifted as of 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Thank you to all who complied with the parking ban during this timeframe. Touch-up snow plowing and salting will continue over the next couple of days to continue to clear the roads of remaining snow.
This latest Snow Emergency was run using Map A to identify priority of neighborhood streets. For the next Snow Emergency, Map B will be used, flipping the order so those who were later in the order will now be first. Please click the corresponding links for details.
Although the large majority of residents complied with the parking ban, the City issued more than 200 tickets in the 33-hour timeframe to allow for the proper plowing of streets and safe passage of roadways. Please be mindful that the parking ban is in place until a Snow Emergency is officially lifted by the City. The City posts Snow Emergency information on its website, on Facebook and Twitter, on SHTV channels (5, 10 and 99) and also issues a press release to the media.
