Green For Life (GFL) Environmental Inc. will begin offering Sterling Heights residents enhanced recycling services effective August 1, 2017.

Effective August 1, 2017, Green For Life (GFL) Environmental Inc. will begin offering Sterling Heights residents enhanced recycling services, including weekly curbside recycling pick-up at a cost of $57 per year In advance of this commencement date, all City residents will be receiving information from GFL Environmental via mail regarding the annual cost to participate and how to subscribe for the enhanced services, which can be done via phone or through GFL’s website. In addition, all current subscribers will be receiving notice from WM in mid July regarding applicable refunds. All existing WM carts will be collected by GFL and replaced for current subscribers choosing to continue service through GFL with new 64 gallon carts from GFL.

The City of Sterling Heights is working closely with WM and GFL to ensure a smooth transition of services to those residents receiving these services.
