[ARCHIVED] City announces “Sterling Heights Day” at Jimmy John’s Field set for August 31

Sterling Heights residents can take advantage of discounted tickets and watch the Mayor throw the first pitch at “Sterling Heights Day” at an upcoming game at Jimmy John’s Field.

The United Shore Professional Baseball League has officially designated Thursday, Aug. 31 as “Sterling Heights Day”.

Sterling Heights residents can receive $5.00 off grandstand tickets to watch the Utica Unicorns play the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers with use of the promo code “STERLINGHEIGHTS” when ordering tickets at www.USPBL.com. The Thursday game is set to start at 7:05 p.m. 

Sterling Heights Mayor Michael C. Taylor and members of City Council will take the field prior to game start to kick-off the game and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
