Regrettably, we will not have eclipse glasses available for public distribution. We sought glasses from three vendors over the last ten months, but we just today received a shipment containing far fewer glasses than our original requests.
We DO have enough glasses for our Special Eclipse Storytime. On Monday, Aug. 21 at 1pm, we will hold a unique storytime celebrating the eclipse. Children will be given priority for the glasses. If we have more glasses than attendees, we will allow adults to use them.
We are sorry if you anticipated getting a pair of glasses from our library. Other libraries in the area may have glasses. Please call ahead to to verify availability.
