[ARCHIVED] DPW continues clearing Sunday's snowfall

Latest update 12/26.

Update 12/26 : DPW reports plowing should be complete this afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday (12/27 and 12/28) will consist of clean-up efforts around the City, as streets were packed with cars during the Christmas holiday. All streets are now safe and passable. Thank you for your understanding as our DPW worked hard over the holiday to clear streets.

Update 12/24: We’re in a winter wonderland in Sterling Heights, and DPW is out there working to make sure your travel is safe. Right now, our DPW crews are out on major roads plowing. Tomorrow, the crews will start up again to complete 2 to 3 passes and salt neighborhood roads. DPW will not be plowing curb to curb because of the number of the cars on the roads during the Christmas holiday. We are not in a snow emergency at this time.
