[ARCHIVED] Statement from City of Sterling Heights Mayor Michael C. Taylor

“Our hearts are heavy with sadness in Sterling Heights with the passing of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, CEO, Sergio Marchionne.

We are eternally thankful Mr. Marchionne gave SHAP a second chance, not to mention Chrysler, protecting thousands of jobs. His legacy will live on in communities across the United States and Europe. On behalf of the entire City Council and the City of Sterling Heights, I offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to Mr. Marchionne’s family, friends and the entire FCA family."
