[ARCHIVED] Sterling Heights investigating potential source of discharge into the Plumbrook Drain

The city of Sterling Heights has notified the Macomb County Public Works Office (MCPWO)

that a Department of Public Works crew operating heavy machinery in the immediate vicinity of the Plumbrook Drain may be the source of the suspected discharge of hydraulic fluid that entered the waterway earlier today.

The city of Sterling Heights is investigating whether the heavy machinery malfunctioned causing the the discharge of hydraulic fluid is a fully cooperating with the MCPWO.
