Reserve a Study or Meeting Room
The library offers three different kinds of meeting rooms: Study Rooms, the Programming Center, and the Conference Room.
Study Rooms
The library has five study rooms that are available to Sterling Heights Public Library card holders, and three room for non-residents, that are at least 18 years old. The study rooms can be reserved for a two-hour block a day. See the Study Room Use Policy here.
Make a Reservation Online
To make a reservation, click here and choose "My Bookings" along the top. Sign in with your library card and PIN. Click "Room Bookings". Choose a Study or Meeting Room (or leave all checked) and room capacity needed (or leave blank to show all). Choose a day within three days from the current date. You will then see room options. Click on the desired time of day (green boxes indicate the room is available, red indicates the room is unavailable) and follow the prompts to secure the date.
Note: Room bookings are reserved for one 2-hr session only, per day. Rooms can only be reserved until 15 minutes before closing (7:45 p.m Mon.-Thurs., 4:45 pm Fri.-Sun.).

Study room reservations can also be made over the phone by calling 586-446-2640.
Programming Center
The Programming Center holds up to 120 people and can be reserved for events that are open to the general public and not for profit. Please call library administration at (586) 446-2640 for availability and further questions. Then, read the Programming Center Use Policy and fill out the online form to place a reservation request. Alternatively, the Programming Center Application Form can be printed and turned in to the library administration office on the library's second floor.
Conference Room
The Conference Room holds up to 12 people and can be reserved for events that are open to the general public and not for profit. Please call library administration at (586) 446-2640 for availability and further questions. Then, read the Conference Room Use Policy and fill out the online form to place a reservation request. Alternatively, the Conference Room Application Form can be printed and turned in to the library administration office on the library's second floor. For questions, call us at (586) 446-2640.
