The Citizen Participation Plan describes the policies and procedures for involving citizens in critical planning issues related to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program. The plan must be adopted by the local government in order to comply with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.
Citizen Advisory Committee
Annually, the City Council appoints 7 community volunteers to the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). These volunteers meet with the Community Development staff 4 times a year to provide input to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program guidelines, public service applications, and to assist in the development of the annual program budget.
