Baby Summer Reading

Babies have a simple program. Starting June 10, go to the Youth Services desk to pick up a paper log, or log on the Beanstack app. Earn badges for books read with your baby! Must complete 4 badges to finish. 

Once you have finished, turn in the paper log at the Youth Services desk, or show them your Beanstack app, between July 8 and Aug. 10 to get your prize! Finisher prizes can be collected after July 8.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The library is running an early literacy program called 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. The goal is to encourage academic success by offering incentives for kids to read or listen to—you guessed it—1000 books before Kindergarten.

Participation in the program is not required for Summer Reading. However, if you’re already reading books for Summer Reading, it’s not a bad idea to do both programs at the same time! Ask for a booklet and further details at the Youth Services desk.
