The Sterling Heights Public Library is supported by many volunteers. Because of their efforts, our library has been able to provide services and collections that make our library a very special place for the residents—from the very young to our senior citizens. Volunteers assist in the Used, But Sterling Bookstore, help with programs, and give of their time with various projects that happen throughout the year.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the Library volunteer application. If you are interested in any other volunteer opportunities, please use the city’s online volunteer form. You can also visit library administration to ask for both applications in print.
Each year, the library awards one volunteer our special Volunteer of Year award. You can see the complete list of award-winners here.
