Virtual Library Cards

What Does the Card Do?

Virtual library cards grant access to most of the library's electronic services without needing to apply for a traditional library card. Virtual library cards are given to all the students and teachers in a participating school district. At this time, the library has partnered with Utica Community Schools and Warren Consolidated Schools.

Available Services

What Is My Virtual Library Card Number?

The card number and PIN was sent to parents in a secure email. If that email has been lost, please call the library at 586-446-2665. When prompted for routing options, press 2 for Circulation.

What If I Want to Checkout Items?

You cannot checkout physical items with a virtual library card, but Sterling Heights residents can still apply for a traditional library card. Learn the details here.
